Hi there! We hope you’ve been managing safely during this recent COVID surge.

We have some happy news to share: Our dad is turning 60 and retired in December 2021 after years working at DCMA. Due to the COVID circumstances, we're having a small and intimate birthday and retirement party for him on January 22 and we'd like you to be a part of it by submitting a short video!

We'd like to capture up to 2 minutes of content from each of you. Don’t worry if it is a little longer or shorter as we’ll combine all video submissions into one video.

Please share your video with EJ or Ashley by text or email by Monday, January 17, 2022. If you need more time to submit a video, just let us know :)

Shhh! This video is a surprise so please don’t mention it to him in conversation until after January 22.

Your video does not have to hit all bullet points but we hope this helps you come up with content.

  • Congratulations on his early retirement and happy birthday (he’s turning 60 on January 25!)

  • When you first met and/or a fond memory you may have of him

  • Touch on the impact he has had on you, your career, or anything that you will remember him for

  • Share any appreciation you may have for his commitment to work over the years

  • A fun hobby he should take up during retirement/any advice you may have for him so he doesn't get bored

GENERAL TIPS:

  • Smile :) and show your enthusiasm as you’re speaking directly into your camera

  • Feel free to use hand gestures to elaborate your excitement.

  • Don’t feel obligated to make it perfect from the beginning to end. We will be editing to ensure smooth transitions.
